Tsosanang Community Youth Program is a Youth organization that is situated in Mohlakeng, Randfontein, that mainly aims to alleviate poverty and provide knowledge to the residents of the community and the nation at large. The organisation is also fighting the humongous discrimination against the LGBT+ community as well as tackling the Gender Based Violence that is a pandemic in our nation. At TCYP, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing the issue of poverty in our community. Hunger is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. We are always striving to make a difference by providing food to the needy each and every season.
Peer-To-Peer Education
Reinforcing our Commitment
With this initiative, our goal is to break the stigma of learners changing streams of subjects due to lack of understanding. With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential. We recruit various learners from schools across the West Rand region to tutor different subjects to help others understand.
Pilgrimages
Bringing back Justice
As our secondary objectives states that we are against Gender Based Violence, we support GBV cases and make sure that with relevant evidence, perpetrators get jailed. We strongly believe that if you do crime, you must face time. We promote justice in any angle.
